• Before you start, make sure the power cables are connected.
NOTES
1. Do not use the winch if a gear is engaged on your vehicle is engaged. This could
damage your engine.
2.
Do not wrap the cable around an object and do not attach the hook to the cable
itself. This could damage the cable.
3. Keep the cable and the winch far from hands, feet, clothing, hair and jewelry.
4. Do not use the winch if the cable is damaged
5. Do not let anyone stand close to the cable. In case of breakage, the cable can
lead to serious injuries or damages. A safe distance is imperative
6. Do not let the winch on if you do not use it
MAXIMUM TRACTION
The maximum pulling force depends on the slope. The steeper the slope, the lower
the force.
WARNING: The advices and warnings in this manual can not prevent all dangerous
situations. The user must be aware of the risks and use the winch with responsibility
and caution.
MOUNTING THE WINCH
1. a) The winch must be fixed in a suitable steel frame with 4 fixing points on a
vertical or horizontal mounting surface.
b) It is very important that the winch is mounted on a smooth, flat surface,
so that the three parts (motor, winch drum and gear housing) are
connected together properly.
c) Before you start mounting the winch, make sure that the fastening device
complies with the maximum traction force of the winch and is able to carry the
load accordingly.
d) Fixing of winches and/or frontal protection systems can trigger SRS airbags.
Check if the fastening system has been tested and whether it is suitable for fixing
of winches in a vehicle equipped with airbags.
2. Winch mounting frames and/or frontal protection systems are adapted to most
vehicles. Winch frames are packed with detailed installation instructions.
3. If you want to build on your own a custom mounting plate, you may use for your
construction the dimensions given below. It is recommended using a steel plate
of 6 mm thickness. The mounting brackets should be made of high quality
stainless steel (class 5 or better).
4. The rope deflection pulley must be fastened in order to wind evenly the rope
onto the drum.
LUBRICATION
All moving parts of the winch must be regularly lubricated with oil. Use a light oil
which disperses well. By the way, check the condition of your cable and of your winch,
and if necessary replace defective parts.
FIXING OF THE STEEL ROPE
Lay the new steel rope straight on the ground to avoid shredding of the rope. Re

move the old steel rope and pay attention to how it is attached to the steel drum
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The existing power system is able to do the normal rescue work. Two elements are
required for this purpose, the fully charged battery and the correct connection. When
working with the winch, you will start the motor and ensure that the battery is in the
charging status. Turn on the power according to the correct hints in pict. 1.
1. Connect the short red cable (on control box) to the red terminal of the motor.
2. Connect the short black cable with yellow cover with yellow clamp of
motor.
3. Connect the short black cable with black cover with the black clamp of the motor.
4. Connect the thin black cable with the clamp at the bottom of the motor.
5. Connect the end of the long black cable with the with the clamp at
the bottom of the motor. Connect the negative pole of the other end with the
negative pole of the battery.
