Addressing DT- 05 transmitters
After having checked the field bus successfully, you have to assign a measuring point (MP) address to each DT-
05 transmitter.
The addressing is effected by the service tool DGC-05-STL in the menu “Addressing” directly at each DT- 05.
The service tool communicates not only with the DT- 05, but always via the GC- 05 to the DT- 05, too. Therefore
addressing is only possible when the GC- 05 is ready for use and the field bus is functioning.
The status LED of the DT- 05 is weakly illuminated when the operating voltage is active (voltage indicator)
An automatic link connection STL <> GC-05 <> DT-05 is established by connecting the DCG-05- STL to the
service tool jack of the DT- 05.
If this connection is OK, than you can read the actual DT- 05 address in the menu „Address“.

XX
= Actual DT- 05 Address
255 = Communication error! See 5.5
Addressing according to the following description:
Starting
menu
Address DT-05
0 =
DT- 05 has no address yet (delivery status DT- 05),
communication to the GC- 05 is OK, addressing possible.
XX = DT- 05 has already an address. Address can be changed.
255 = DT- 05 has no communication to the GC- 05 Controller (Central
control) addressing not possible, eliminate communication error.
Cursor
is
faded
in,
by
using
enter
desired
address.
Takes
over
entered
address
in
the
service
tool.
The
previous
address
is
displayed
again
for
one
measuring
cycle,
afterwards the assigned address is taken over by the DT- 05.
Addressing DT- 05 finished.
Unplug service tool.
