4.20 Auxiliary Power Connector
An auxiliary power connector is available to power some interfaces when the input power is
not in the 11V to 13V range and the power at 12V PCIe, VCC_LCD (X1601), VCC_BL_EDP
(X1602), VCC_BL (X1101) and 12V fan power are switched-off. In that case, you can feed
12V from an external power source at X1603 pin 4 to supply these connectors with power.
The drawn current depends on the connected devices.
12V output and 5V can power a harddisk.

4.21 Battery
The RTC on the COM Express module is buffered with a socketed battery on the base
board.
In order to clear the CMOS memory, the battery voltage to the COM Express module can
be disconnected via nearby RTC BAT jumper J1402.
