TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
1.1
Purpose
Marine automatic telephone system ITS-1004 ensures telephone communication
between rooms and stations of passenger and cargo vessels, submarines and ships of all
classes, as well as communication with users of coastal telephone networks during
anchorage. The System may have an industrial application.

1.3 General description
Depending on the place of installation the SC may be delivered with different IP
ratings (IP20, IP22, IP44, IP56, as well as explosion-proof type) and types of mounting
(desk-top or hinged (wall), or console (flush) types), see Table 3 and Appendix C.
The System deployment is carried out using one central unit ITS-CUA of
corresponding type, connected user terminals and other peripheral equipment if any
required.
