Dismantling and disposal
7.1
Safety
Personnel
Only trained, specialized personnel should perform
dismantling tasks.
Only qualified electricians should perform tasks on the electrical
equipment.
Danger!
Life-threatening danger due to electric shock!
There is a life-threatening hazard when touching live
components. Switched-on electrical components can
execute uncontrolled movements and can cause
serious injuries.
Therefore:
–
Prior to starting dismantling work, switch off
the supply of electricity and definitively disconnect it.
7.2
Dismantling
CAUTION!
Residual voltage
A minimum waiting period of 5 minutes must be observed after
disconnecting the control unit from the power and before opening it
so that the charge of the capacitators can decrease to a safe level.
Prior to dismantling:
Switch off the MRW Vib-Control 04 and safeguard it from
being switched on again.
Wait at least 5 minutes before opening the housing so that
the charge of the capacitors can decrease to a safe level.
Disconnect all the connectors and the cables connected to
the internal terminal strip for inputs and outputs
Then clean the device properly and store dry at room
temperature. The relative humidity may not exceed 60%.
7.3
Disposal
Send the cleaned MRW Vib-Control 04 to the manufacturer for
proper disposal
