Leak proof test
With the leak proof test, the analyzer will check the complete sampling system (incl. the condensate separator) for leaks.
The internal gas pump generates a vacuum which is measured over the built-in draft sensor and is observed for a period
of 10 seconds. Based on the decrease of pressure a leakage can be be determined.
Operation:
·
The leak proof test cap # 61382 (for probe tubes Ø 8 mm) must be put on on the probe spike.
ATTENTION:
The probe tupe end must be clean!
(With dirt or soot on the tube the cap does not seal.)
·
Launch under “extras” the leak proof test on which the following window will pop up:
OK
…
If of the leak proof test has failed, the probe probe (incl. samplping hoses) and condensate separator muct be checked.
Very often, a missing or defect O-ring, a defect sampling hose, are the reasons for leakage.
If no reson for leakge can be found in these external parts the OPTIMA 7 BIOGAS has to be checked in a service depart-
ment (worldwide service departments see
www.mru.eu
).
