Disinfection
The accessories that can be disinfected are E1 without elastic
E2, E3, E7, E8, E9, F1, F2, F3, F4
The disinfection procedure described in this paragraph should be carried out before using the
accessories. This procedure is effective on the components only if each step is carefully followed
and if the components are previously sanitized.
Execution:
a) Use a container of a suitable size to contain all the components to be disinfected. Fill it with
a solution of potable water and electrolytic chloroxidizer (active ingredient sodium hypochlorite)
suitable for disinfection according to the dilution proportions recommended in the disinfectant
instructions.
b) Submerge every component completely in the solution; try to prevent that air bubbles form in
contact with the components. Keep the components immersed for the period recommended on
the disinfectant instructions based on the selected concentration / dilution.
c) Remove the disinfected components and rinse them thoroughly under warm potable water.
Dry the components as described in the Sanitization paragraph. Discard solution according to
the instructions provided by the disinfectant manufacturer.
Air filter
The device has an inlet filter (Pic. B4) that should be replaced when it is dirty or changes color.
Do not wash or reuse the same filter. Regular replacement of the filter is required to help and
ensure correct performance of the compressor. Check the filter on a regular basis. Contact your
local dealer or authorized service centre for spare filters.
Re-use
Before re-use the compressor has to be disinfected by wiping it with a damp cloth with
an antibacterial detergent (non abrasive and solvent free) which is compatible the material
of the compressor. The material of the compressor is ABS (Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol).
The filter and the nebulizer set (C6, E1, E2, E3, E5, E6, E7, E8, E9) have to be exchanged.
