NOTE! Check the tag for the required temperature of ironing. If you do not know the type of fabric of the prod-
uct being ironed, set an appropriate temperature by ironing the part which is not visible when you wear or
use the product. The iron heats up faster than it cools down. Start from the lowest temperature and increase
it gradually. Iron silk, wool and synthetic fabrics - to avoid shiny marks, iron inside out or cover with other thin
material. Velvet and similar fabrics must be ironed in one direction, do not hold in one place. Synthetic fabrics
and silk must be ironed inside out without the use of steam.
NOTE! Always start ironing from products which require the lowest temperature.
3.
Thermostat control indicator
4
will switch off when the desired temperature is achieved.
4.
During ironing the thermostat control indicator
4
will be alternately on and off. This indi-
cates that the iron heats up.
5.
If during the first ironing phase the iron operates with high temperature and the temperature
is reduced, the ironing may be resumed as soon as the thermostat indicator
4
switches on.
This will prevent possible damage of the fabric ironed.
USING THE APPLIANCE
It is advisable to put the iron on its stand which has anti-slip feet to protect the iron from damage. Before iron-
ing fill the water tank to the maximum line and turn on the steam function by pressing the button
2
to clean
the steam generating system.
STEAM IRONING
1.
Check whether there is enough water in the water tank
7
. If not proceed according to “PREP-
ARATION FOR USE”.
NOTE! Steam ironing is possible only at higher ironing temperatures (temperature settings from •• up to MAX
level).
NOTE! The iron ejects a large amount of hot steam! Danger of scalding!
2.
Set the required temperature (see: “TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT”).
3.
When the iron heats up to the set temperature, the thermostat indicator lamp
4
switches
off. You may start ironing.
