SELF CLEAN FUNCTION (SELF-CLEANING)
Use this function every two weeks, especially if you use running water instead of distilled
water. If the water where you live is very hard (i.e. lime scale is dropping from the soleplate
when you are ironing), use this function more frequently.
1.
Make sure that the appliance has been disconnected from the mains supply.
2.
Set the steam regulator
1
to position „NO STEAM” .
3.
Fill the tank to the MAX level mark.
4.
Insert the plug into the earthed socket.
5.
Select the maximum ironing temperature.
6.
When the indicator light
7
goes off, disconnect the iron from the mains supply.
7.
Hold the iron over the sink, press and hold the SELF CLEAN button
2
, and then shake the
iron gently. Steam and hot water will come out from the soleplate. All impurities and lime
scale will be washed away.
8.
When the tank has been emptied, release the SELF CLEAN button
2
. Repeat the cleaning if
there are still many impurities inside the iron.
ANTI CALC FUNCTION – ACTIVE ANTI LIME-SCALE SYSTEM
The anti lime-scale system prevents the steam holes from becoming clogged by lime-scale. It
is active at all times, and you do not need to replace it.
STORAGE
1.
Turn the steam regulator to the „no steam” position , and remove the plug from the socket.
2.
Empty the water tank
8
.
