CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Remove stone and other contamination from the iron’s soleplate with a wet wipe and (liquid)
detergent which doesn’t contain any tearing agents.
ATTENTION!
To avoid scratching the soleplate, do not leave the iron near metal objects. To clean
the soleplate, do not use tearing wipes, vinegar or other chemical agents.
2. Wipe the upper part of the iron with a wet wipe.
3. Wash the water tank regularly and empty it afterwards.
„SELF CLEAN” function
Use this function two times a month. Especially, when you do not use distilled water but the tap water. If a wa
-
ter you use is hard (when you are ironing, stone plates drop from the soleplate), use this function more often.
1. Make sure that the iron is unplugged.
2. Set the steam controller into the position
(NO STEAM).
3. Fill in the water tank to the Max level.
4. Plug the iron into a grounded socket.
5. Select maximal ironing temperature.
6. When the temperature indicator is off, unplug the iron.
7. Keeping the iron above the wash basin, push and hold the „SELF CLEAN” button and shake the
iron. A steam and water will get away from the iron’s soleplate. Contaminations and stone plates
will be washed away.
8. When the water tank is empty, release the „SELF CLEAN” button. If contamination still can be
found in the iron, repeat this activity.
„ANTI CALC” function – active antycalcium system
Antycalcium input prevents from blocking the steam nozzles by stone plates. It is permanently ac
-
tive and it is not necessary to replace it.
Storage
1. Set the steam regulator into
(NO STEAM
) position and unplug the iron.
2. Empty the water tank.
3. Wait until the iron gets cold. Wrap the cable around the iron.
4. Empty iron should be stored in the vertical position on a stable surface.
