SAFETY OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Read the manual carefully before use.
The iron must be plugged to a grounded source of the current.
Take special precautions if there are children nearby!
Never put the unit, cable or plug into water or other liquids.
Never leave the iron plugged into socket without supervision.
Do not hang the wire on sharp edges and do not let it touch hot surfaces.
Check regularly if the cable is not damaged.
Never use the device if the cable, plug or other elements are damaged. In such
case have the device repaired in an authorized service point.
Always take a plug from a socket when you are not using the device or before
starting any maintenance activities.
When you pour the water into the water tank or you empty it, unplug the device
from the socket.
Never touch the iron’s soleplate when the iron is on!
Pour the water into the water tank only. It is recommended to use distilled water
in order to avoid stone plates depositing in internal parts of the iron.
Do not add any chemical substances to the water poured into the tank – they can
damage the iron.
Do not touch hot parts of the iron, hot water or steam. You can burn yourself.
Never use the unit for purposes other than indented.
The unit is designed to work at a household.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
Do not open the water tank while ironing.
Use the iron on a stable surface. Always put the iron on the stable surface.
Do not use the unit if the iron had been dropped, you can see damages or the
water leaks.
This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and individu-
als with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Clean-
ing and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.
Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
Ensure that children do not play with the appliance.
Do not pull the plug by holding the power cord.
Do not connect the power plug with wet hands.
