SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully this manual before using the appliance.
This appliance must never be used near water!
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other liquids!
Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children.
Do not use the appliance in case of its damage, also if its cord or plug is dam-
aged – in such case the appli ance should be handed over to an authorized
service shop for repair.
To avoid the risk of damage or injury, always use the attachments recommended
by the manufacturer.
Do not leave the operating appliance unattended!
Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces.
This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Do not use the appliance for the purposes different than it was designed for.
This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and
individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children
without supervision.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
Do not place the cord over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.
Make sure the device is protected from moisture. Use it on dry materials only.
Structural and very delicate materials, such as mohair, may be damaged during
the use of trimmer. Therefore, before the normal use of trimmer it is advisable first
to check the effect on a less visible part of the garment, e.g. on the inner side.
Do not use the trimmer on the clothes you are wearing, always take them off.
This may cause injury or damage to the trimmer.
Do not use the trimmer on buttons, zips, patches, labels, abrasions, seams,
imprints, stickers, etc.
Note! Do not use the trimmer for shaving hair or beard - risk of
injury.
Do not expose to direct sunlight. The appliance shall be stored in a cool, dry
place, at a temperature 0-40°C. After use, put it in a dry place.
