and face away from the cover vents.

until it locks in upright position – this
will automatically lift the basket
15
to draining position.

to open the lid
1
. Allow all steam to escape, then cautiously lift
the lid
1
to the upright position not touching hot surfaces. Check if the food is well fried. If
more cooking time is needed, close the lid and lower the basket back according to point 4-6.
13.
Once the food is fried, lift the basket

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Before cleaning remove the plug from the power outlet and allow the fryer to cool complete-
ly with the lid closed
1
.
2.
When the fryer has cooled off, remove the container
14
from the fryer using the handles.
3.
If you want to re-use the oil, it is recommended to pour it through a sieve to strain food
remains. Store oil in a tightly sealed container where it will not be exposed to heat or direct
sunlight.
4.
Wash the container
14
and basket
15
with hot water with a mild detergent. Rinse and dry
them thoroughly. Do not use wire wools or abrasives to clean the container
14
or the cas-
ing
8
. The basket
15
may be washed in a dishwasher.
5.
Never immerse the casing in water or any other liquid, or wash in a dishwasher. Just wipe
with a damp cloth.
6.
After each use clean the lid
1
from the inside with a damp cloth. The lid
1
may be detached
from the casing to clean it more thoroughly. To do so, lift it straight up (so it is at right angle
to the casing), than press the lid lock button
16
and slide it upwards. Push the locking bolt on
the filter cover
12
and remove the filter
11
. Clean with hot, soapy water. Do not clean the lid
elements in a dishwasher.
Caution! Always remove the filter before immersing the lid in water.
7.
Always make sure that the lid seal has been cleaned and dried to prevent its sticking to the
fryer casing. Replace the seal when it has been hardened, softened, deformed, broken,
wiped off or riddled.
Replacing the filter:
The carbon filter in the fryer lid helps to absorb unpleasant odours. After 10-15 uses it needs
replacing.
