During the equipment use the cable may be damaged
for misuse or lack of maintenance. If the cable is damaged
even if the cable's fracture is not exposed.
Be aware of fracture close to the steel cable's components
such as the rubber ball.
Always check the steel cable if you find twists immediately
replace the cable.
If the cable ruptures internally, a bulge may emerge on the
exterior part of the cable, immediately replace the cable.
Replace any steel cable exposed in the ends.
Smashed steel cable or outside of its original form may
cause rupture or damage to other parts of the equipment.
Twisted steel cable or outside of its original form may cause
ruptures or damage other parts of the equipment.
Exposure of the tip of the steel cable.
Carabiner Replacement
Replace the carabiner whenever there is the smallest hint of wear,
distortions, hardship to close and anything that may be harmful to your
resistance.
For replacement, always use a carabiner supplied directly by MOVEMENT.
If it is not possible to obtain a carabiner provided by MOVEMENT, use a
carabiner that rigorously meets the following requirements.
- Composition material: AISI 316 Stainless Steel;
- Maximum capacity closed: 1600 kg
- Maximum capacity open: 350kg
WARNINGS
- Monthly, verify with attention the conditions of the carabiner;
- Do not modify the carabiners in any way;
- The opening of the carabiner must be turned to the weights column.
