Power Reserve Indicator
(See Figure F)
The power reserve function is designed to help you
monitor how much running time your watch has
left. In the U-shaped sector on the dial, the large
white dot represents full power reserve (maximum
reserve is 42 hours) and the large red dot indi-
cates no reserve (0 hours). While the power
reserve is automatically increased or “restored” by
the motion of your wrist during normal daily activi-
ties, if the indicator enters the red dot zone, you
should wind your automatic watch by hand to
ensure its continuing precise, reliable function:
To wind the movement:
(See Figure G on next page)
1. With the crown in position 1, flush against the
case, turn the crown clockwise until the power
reserve (réserve de marche) indicator hand
points to full capacity (large white dot).
To set the time:
(See Figure G on next page)
1. Pull crown gently out to position 3.
2. Turn crown in direction that moves hour/minute
hands clockwise to set them to the desired
time.
3. Push the crown back in to position 1. If the
movement has been properly wound, the watch
will resume running, now set to the precise
