SETTING UP
Warning! Risk of injury! Before performing any operation unplug the power cord from
the wall socket.
Information on the sanding belts
The machine is designed for using replacement sanding belts with dimensions 533 x 76 mm (also 533 x
75 mm belts can be used), suitable for material being worked on. Do not use worn‐out, damaged or
heavily fouled belts because the sanding performance will be poor. Damaged belts may tear and fly
apart.
Warning! Never use the sander without sanding belt in place.
Sanding belt attaching
• Lift the belt clamping lever (6) to loosen the sanding belt (12).
• Take the belt off the rollers (5) by pulling it to the side.
• Place a new belt on the rollers and make sure it is straight and centered. The arrow on the inside of
the sanding belt must point in the same direction as the arrow on the machine near the clamping
lever (6).
• Push the clamping lever back.
• Turn the sander upside down and switch it on to let the sanding belt run. With the machine switched
on, turn the belt centering knob (4) until the sanding belt keeps running straight.
• The sanding belt must be fitted firmly on the sanding pad and should not come loose.
Auxiliary handle adjustment
• Lift the handle clamping lever (10) located on the side of auxiliary handle (9).
