To lock the lid, position it on the bowl with
the marks lined up then turn it
anticlockwise -

Note: the lid cannot be removed once
the bowl is locked onto the body of the
appliance.

Once the lid is locked on, place the bowl
on the body of the appliance and turn it
until it locks into position -

Note: the appliance will not work if the
bowl is not properly locked in position.

sing
the
steaming
function
Open the plug on the water tank and
pour in the amount of water indicated for
cooking the food using the water measure
-

. Put the plug back in. Place the food
in the steaming basket then place the
basket in the bowl, in the notch designed
for this purpose -

. Close the lid,
making sure it is locked in position

. Then place the bowl on the body
of the appliance -

and turn the
button to the steaming position .
The indicator light comes on and the
button returns to the position.
The appliance starts to heat up and stops
automatically when the water tank is empty.
Caution: on first use, the steam function
may already be selected. Thus, the tank
must always be filled before you plug in the
appliance.
S
teaming
Cooking time varies according to the
temperature of the food and evaporation
of the water poured into the tank before
start-up. The cooking times in the guide
opposite are given as an indication only for
approximately 100 g of food, either fresh or
frozen, cut up into small cubes or pieces.
Note: if the food is not cooked enough, wait
10 minutes before opening the plug on the
tank. fill it up again and do another cycle,
adjusting the amount of water.

BeFore you use your appliance For the First time
Before you use your appliance for the first
time, we advise you to carry out a steaming
cycle using 4 measures of water.
Then wash the bowl, basket, lid, blade and
accessories in dishwater. Clean the body of
the appliance with a soft cloth.
To remove the blade, turn the knob -
fig. 1
until the upper and lower parts of the blade
are free.
R
eheating
and
defrosting
You can also use the steaming function
to reheat food or jars of food and even
defrost food in jars. Use 3 measures of water
for reheating and 6 measures for defrosting.
Caution: when reheating or defrosting food
in jars, always remove the lid from the jar
before placing the opened jar in the
steaming basket -

sing
the
blender
function
Remove the steaming basket and put the
food in the blender bowl.
Close the lid making sure it is locked in position.
Then place the bowl on the body of the
appliance and turn the button to the
blending position .
Proceed through successive presses until
you obtain the desired consistency.
If the blended food remains stuck on the
sides of the bowl, scrape it with the spatula
and resume blending once you have
locked the lid back in position.
Caution: never blend for more than
10 seconds at a time.

At the end of the
cooking process, there is
still liquid remaining in
the bowl. Keep it to add
to the cooked food if
necessary.

100 g carrots
80 g potatoes
20 g leeks.
- Wash, peel and cut up the vegetables before
placing them in the steaming basket.
- Put the lid on the bowl.
- Pour 6 measures of water in the tank.
Set to the position and leave to cook.
- Pour the contents of the basket in the
blender bowl. Blend through successive
presses until you obtain the desired
consistency.
- Serve.
