Setting the Weather Channel
Your radio receives eight NOAA frequencies. See the

for a complete list.
As with two-way radio reception, weather channel reception depends on how close
you are to a transmitter and whether you are indoors or outdoors. Also, because
weather channels are transmitted without codes, they may contain static or noise.
After turning on the weather broadcast, press

to start the
channel display blinking.
Press

or
]
to select the strongest channel.
Note:
In some isolated areas, it may not be possible to receive weather channel
transmissions.
