Configuration and Installation Guide
14.1 Introduction
This Section gives instructions for installing and configuring the TDD (Time Division Duplex)
Synchronization feature for Motorola PTP600 Series bridges. Using this feature, a single
frequency channel is assigned to both the transmitter and the receiver. This has many
advantages such as:
•
Minimising interference between multiple links on a single mast.
•
Improving frequency re-use
•
Reducing spatial / angular separation between PTP links when installed on the same
mast
•
Improving Link Budgets (when using higher Tx power)
