The music player begins playback in Play All mode (see
page 77).
listening tips
When you’re on the go, you can listen to your music
through a wired headset with a 2.5mm headset jack,
an EMU (Enhanced Mini USB) connector, or by using
Bluetooth® A2DP stereo headphones (see page 56).
Note: You cannot charge your phone when an EMU
headset is connected.
When the phone’s slider is open and you are not using
a wired or wireless headset, music is played through
the phone’s speaker.
c reate a playlist
1 From the main screen, press left on the
navigation key (

) to access Music &Tones.
2 Use the navigation key (
S
) to scroll to My Music
and press the center select key (
s
) (OK).
3 Scroll to Playlists and press the center select
key (
s
) (OK).
4 If playlists already exist, press the right soft key (+)
(Options) , then scroll to Create playlist and press the
center select key (
s
) (OK).
or
If no playlists exist, press the right soft key (+) (Create) .
5 Use the keypad to enter a title for the playlist on
the CREATE PLAYLIST screen and press the center
select key (
s
) (OK).
6 Press
B
to return to the MUSIC LIBRARY menu.
7 Select Genres , Artists , or Albums , navigate to the ALBUMS
screen (see page 73), scroll to an album, and
press the center select key (
s
) (OK).
8 Scroll to a desired song and press Options .
9 Select Add to Playlist by pressing the center select
key (
s
) (OK).
