numeri c mode
After selecting numeric mode, press number keys to
enter the numbers you want. When you finish
entering numbers, press the left soft key (-) ( 123 ) to
switch to another entry mode.
symbol mode
After selecting the symbols mode, in the SYMBOLS
screen, use the navigation key (
S
) to scroll to the
desired symbol and press the center select key (
s
)
(OK) to select it.
To search for additional symbols, press the right soft
key (+) ( Next ) to page down to the next set of symbols.
Press the left soft key (-) ( Prev ) to page up to the
previous set.
delete letters & words
Move the cursor to the right of the text you want to
delete, then:
• Press and release
B
to delete one letter at a
time.
• Press and hold
B
to delete an entire word.
adjust volume
Press the volume keys to:
• turn off an incoming call alert
• change the earpiece volume during calls with
the slider open
• change the ringer volume from the main
screen (with slider open)
Tip: Sometimes silence really is golden. That’s
why you can quickly set your ringer to Vibrate
Only or All Sounds Off by holding the down volume
key while in the main screen.
