3.25.7 Call screening on/off
You are able to hear a caller leaving a message. You
can then choose to ignore the caller or pick up the call.
When the answering machine is recording, the corded
base displays

Remote access allows you to operate your answering
machine and listen to your messages by calling your
phone from another phone.
Turn the remote access on/off

To enter the remote access mode, dial your phone
number from another phone, when you hear the
announcement, press
TONE/*
and then enter the 4-digit
remote security code (default code is 0000) on your
another telephone.
The correct sequence of the 4 security PIN digits needs
to be detected before entering remote access mode.
Random digits detected prior to the correct 4 digits
sequence are ignored, and answering machine
recording continues until the complete PIN is detected.
There is no system prompt to enter the remote access
code.
