MAC Filter
MAC address filtering means sifting traffic going through the HH1620 based on the source
and/or destination MAC addresses.
Every Ethernet device has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address. The MAC address
is assigned at the factory and consists of six pairs of hexadecimal characters, for example,
00:A0:C5:00:00:04. You need to know the MAC addresses of the devices to configure this
page.
You can configure the HH1620 to give exclusive access to devices (
Allow Association
) or
exclude them from accessing the HH1620 (
Deny Association
).
