4 and 8 Bay Charging/Communication Cradles
The cradle (HCC700-8, -4) is a network access point for all docked HC700-G units. The HC700-G
exchanges data with a server or a host computer through the cradle is also used to charge the HC700-G.
The HC700-G cradle is available in four (see Figure 51) and eight docking bay versions.
The communication/charger cradle is equipped with an Ethernet port to link the HC700-G to a LAN
server. The cradle is also equipped with an RS232 serial port to communicate by Dial-up modem or
directly with a host computer. The interfaces of the HC700-G to a cradle is over USB.
