Using Voice Instruction
You can use voice instructions to perform many basic
phone functions.
Using Voice Recognition
Press and hold the camera key on the right side of your
phone until the phone sounds an alert tone. Speak a voice
instruction as described below, then release the camera
key to perform the corresponding function.
The voice instruction function operates in 2 modes:
name/instruction mode, and digit mode. The default
operating mode is name/instruction. When you speak the
command
“Open Digit Dial”
or
“Open Dial Pad,”
your phone switches to digit mode so you can speak
the phone number you want to dial.
Notes:
•
When your phone switches to digit mode, the phone
prompts you to
“Please say digits or go back,”
and
then sounds a beep. (Your phone does
not
prompt
you to speak when it is in name/instruction mode.)
•
Your phone remains in digit mode for a few seconds
after each number recognition, and then automatically
returns to name/instruction mode.
