Recalling from memory
Recalling by name
Once you have stored entries, you can recall them alphabetically, and immediately place calls.
Press the smart button twice to enter the phonebook.
1.
Enter
Press [MENU] twice to enter your name directory.

Scroll to name
Press [
↑
] or [
↓
] to scroll the name you are looking for.
Or search for name.
Enter the first letter of name. The display will show the name and location of the first
entry beginning with that letter and an icon for each number stored in the entry (up to
four).

Select entry
Press [MENU] to select the entry for the displayed name. You will see the first number
stored in the location.
4.
Choose number
Press [
↑
] or [
↓
] to scroll through the numbers stored in that location. The selected icon
will be highlighted.
5.
Place call
Press and hold [MENU] or press [SEND] to call the number selected. You will see:
Calling 3125551234
6.
End call
Press [END], or
Press and hold [MENU] till your hear a dual tone. You will see: Press [**] to end call.
Press [MENU] again to end the call.

Each entry you store is placed in a memory location numbered 01–99. Once you have stored
entries, you can recall them by memory location.
