Start the cloning process by matching in the MUC pockets by pairs as follows:

NOTICE:
MUC pockets numbers should be read from left to right with the Motorola Solutions logo
facing front.
Paired target radios and source radios must be of the same band type in order for the
cloning to run successfully.
When cloning, the MUC does not need to be plugged into a power source, but all radios
require charged batteries.

To start the cloning process, press the Menu button on the source radio. The source radio
generates the start clone tone.

To activate the radio, turn off and on once the cloning process is completed.

To clone another radio, repeat step

To exit clone mode on the source radio, turn off the radio.

Troubleshooting Cloning Mode
When and where to use:
The radio flashes red and an audible double 'bonk' tone is heard indicating that the cloning process
has failed. In the event that cloning fails, perform each of the following steps before attempting to
restart cloning process.
Procedure:

Ensure that the batteries on both radios are fully charged and engaged properly on the radio.

Check the cloning cable connection on both Single-Unit Chargers (SUC).

Ensure that there is no debris in the charging tray or on the radio contacts.

Ensure that the radio contact is touching the SUC or MUC contact firmly.

Ensure that the target radio is turned on.

Ensure that the source radio is in cloning mode.
7
Ensure that the two radios are both from the same frequency band and region.

The cloning cable is designed to operate only with compatible Motorola Solutions SUC.
