Getting started
The charge capacity of rechargeable batteries will reduce
with time as they wear out, giving the handset less talk/
standby time. Eventually they will need to be replaced.
Batteries and handset may become warm during charging.
This is normal.
WARNING
Use only rechargeable batteries. If non-rechargeable
batteries are used,
Wrong Battery
appears and charging will stop.
Replace with 2 AAA 750 mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries.
Date and time
If you have subscribed to your network’s Caller Display
service, the date and time is set automatically for all
handsets when you receive your first call.
If you are not subscribed to Caller Display service, you can
set the date and time manually.
To set date and time manually

Clock & Alarm

is highlighted. Press
Select
.

Enter the date using the format DD/MM/YY e.g.
04/08/10
for 4th of August 2010.

Enter the time (HH:MM) and press
Save
.
If the current time format setting is 12 hour, select
am
or
pm
.

Press
O
to return to standby mode.
Your CD1 is now ready for use.
