General Safety:

It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure all personnel read this manual prior to using the 
device. It is also the responsibility of the device owner to keep this manual intact and in a convenient 
location for all to see and read. If the manual or product labels are lost or not legible, contact

instructions shall be read and discussed with the operator in the operator’s native language by the 
purchaser/owner or his designee, making sure that the operator comprehends its contents.

Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below, may result in 
electric shock, fire, explosion and/or serious personal injury.

DISASSEMBLY WARNING

Do not under any circumstance open lights, pry lights partially open, damage gluing, damage welding, 
or damage/loosen fasteners or fastening devices. Opening lights voids all expressed and written 
warranties/guarantees and can lead to risk of injury or shock.  Opening lights voids IP rating and 
allows foreign objects, solids, gas and liquid to damage the light and its ability to operate correctly  
and safely.

Work Area Safety:

•  Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite accidents.
•  Do not operate lights in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or 

dust. Lights create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

•  Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating a light. Distractions can cause you  

to lose control and endanger others.

•  Do not use in or around water, in damp conditions, on wet surfaces, with wet hands or while standing  

in water. 

•  Do not use light around any flammable material or fuel. 
•  Never attempt to operate light with defective or damaged light, wires, or any other visible damages. Have 

any defective or damaged parts replaced immediately by an authorized repair centre.

The warnings and cautions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and 
situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are 
factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

This product carries a one (1) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. At its 
discretion, MotoMaster Canada agrees to have any defective lights replaced free of charge, within the 
stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser with proof of purchase. This product is 
not guaranteed against wear or breakage due to misuse and/or abuse.

INSTRUCTION 

MANUAL

Personal Safety:

•  Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a light. Do not use light 

while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. 

•  Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and 

gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery, or long hair can  be caught in  
moving parts.

•  Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, 

or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions.

•  Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enable better 

control of the light in unexpected situations.

•  Slipping, tripping and/or falling while operating product can be a major cause of serious injury  

or death. Be aware of cord left on walking or work surface.

Light Use and Care: 

•  Place the switch in the locked or “off” position before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or 

storing the light. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the light accidentally.

•  Store idle lights out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Lights are dangerous in the hands 

of untrained users.

•  When light is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, 

screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting 
the battery terminals together may cause sparks, burns, or a fire.

•  If damaged, have the light serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly  

maintained lights.

•  Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that may 

be suitable for one light may create risk of injury when used on another light.

•  CAUTION: 

Magnetic forces can be harmful to personal property and equipment including cell phones, 

computers, diagnostic equipment and credit cards.

•  Do not store light at temperature above 120°F (49°C).
•  Do not use (or modify) the light for any other purpose than that for which it was designed without 

consulting the manufacturer’s authorized representative.

 
 
 

Service:

•  Light service must be performed only by a MotoMaster

®

️ authorized service centre listed.  

Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel may result in a risk of injury.  
Repair by unqualified personnel, use of unauthorized parts, and failure to follow maintenance instructions 
may create a risk of shock or injury.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES:

DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product replace strict adherence to safety rules. If you use this 
tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.

•  Hold light by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation, avoiding contact with hidden 

wiring. Contact with a “live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the light “live”  
and shock the operator.

•  Be aware that this light is always in operating condition because it does not have to be plugged into an 

electrical outlet.

•  Always be sure you have firm footing.
•  Be sure no one is below when using the light in high locations.
•  Some material contains chemicals which may be toxic. Take caution to prevent work dust inhalation and 

skin contact. Follow material supplier safety data.

WARNING:

 MISUSE or failure to follow the safety rules stated in  this instruction manual may cause 

serious personal injury.
