Sausage Pot
Method:

Heat the oil in the pan to 190ºC, fry the sausages
until browned on all sides.

Add the vegetables and fry for 1-2 minutes until
softened.

Mix together the Worcester sauce and the flour
and add to the pan with the rest of the
ingredients, stir well, reduce the heat to 90ºC
and cook with the lid on for 30-35 minutes until
the sauce has thickened and the carrots are
cooked, stirring occasionally.

Serve with mashed potato.
Ingredients:

1 tbsp oil
•
700g sausages
•
1 onion, chopped
•
3 carrots, sliced
•
1 leek, sliced
•
700ml beef stock
•
3 tbsp mango chutney
•
2 tbsp flour
•
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
•
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Bananas with Rum
Method:

Preheat pan to 150ºC

Place sugar and butter into the pan and cook for
1-2 minutes to melt the butter and dissolve the
sugar. Add the rum and stir well.

Add the bananas to the mixture, cover and cook
for 3-4 minutes to soften the bananas.

Stir occasionally to make sure the sugar doesn’t
burn. Serve scattered with toasted almonds.
Ingredients:

4 large bananas, peeled and sliced in half
lengthways
•
100g light muscovado sugar
•
100g unsalted butter
•
80ml dark rum
•
1 tbsp toasted flaked almonds
