Before using this product for the first time, please:

1. 

Wash any accessory in warm soapy water and dry before use. 

2. 

Before placing any accessory onto the base, make sure there is no water 
between the accessory base and the Heating Element (4).

3. 

Ensure any accessory placed on the base is fitted correctly.

4. 

When heating for the first time expect a small amount of smoke. This is 
normal and will soon stop.
