a paper filter could

be used instead.
When making coffee using pre-ground
coffee, 10 cups of coffee can be made.
Note: One measuring scoop is
approximately equal to one tablespoon.
IMPORTANT: Do not fill above the max.
line of the grinder/filter basket.

6 Spoon the required amount of pre-ground

coffee into the filter we suggest 1
measuring scoop per cup although a
maximum of 12 scoops can be used
depending upon personal taste.

7 Replace the filter basket cover/bean

hopper

and the grinder lid

.Close the

reservoir lid

and press to lock.

Note:Ensure the lid is locked otherwise
the non drip valve will not open, causing
the filter to flood. The grind and brew will
not operate if the cover of the unit is open
more than 1cm or filter basket cover/bean
hopper are left out.

8 Ensure the glass jug is positioned on the

warming plate and that a filter has been
placed in the filter basket. Plug into the

the coffee maker.

9 Once the water and coffee are in place,

press the on/off button twice.
Note: If you are brewing fewer than 5 cups
we recommend that you use the f
programme to ensure full coffee flavour.

the coffee machine as outlined in steps
1-9. Press the flavour button coffee will
brew into the machine, serve as required.

10 The brew light will show to indicate the

machine is brewing.

11 When the coffee has been made, serve as

required. The anti-drip valve will prevent
any remaining coffee dripping onto the
hotplate. Ensure that the jug is replaced
on the hotplate after serving. While the
coffee machine is switched on the
hotplate will keep the coffee warm.

12 Switch off the coffee maker when the jug

is empty or the coffee is no longer
required. WARNING THE COFFEE MAKER
AND HOT PLATE ARE HOT AND REMAIN
HOT FOR SOME TIME AFTER
SWITCHING OFF.

grounds, wash immediately and dry
thoroughly.

Refilling

Switch off the coffee maker and allow 3
minutes to cool before refilling with cold
water for another brew.
