When cool, wrap the power cord

(19)

loosely

around the base

(18)

and secure in place using

the power cord clip

(21)

.

NOTE: Please see point 4 of ‘Exclusions’ on
page 8.

Unclip the pole locking clips

(10)

to compress

the telescopic poles

(9)

. To remove the poles

from the hole in the top of the base, rotate them
anti-clockwise and pull upwards.

Care and cleaning

To clean a stainless steel hotplate

We recommend using a generally available
gentle chrome, silver or stainless steel cleaner.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

If any man-made fibres fuse to the hotplate

(2)

,

pass it over a clean piece of cotton to draw the
deposit off the surface.

To clean the exterior

Allow the unit to cool and wipe over with a damp
cloth and mild detergent, then wipe dry.

Removing limescale

1

Ensure the Express Steam Pro is unplugged
from the mains.

Allow to cool for two hours.

2

Position the Express Steam Pro next to a sink with
the removable descale plug

(20)

over the sink.

3

Half fill the removable water tank

(14)

and

replace it back onto the base

(18)

.

4

Remove the descale plug and allow the water to
empty out into the sink, taking with it loose
mineral deposits.

5

Once the boiler is empty, replace the descale
plug. Please make sure it is fully tightened back
to the padlock position, otherwise it may leak
water and steam.

Maintenance (continued)

IMPORTANT:

Do not switch on the product unless the removable water tank

(14)

is fitted.

Always switch the product off before removing the water tank.

IMPORTANT:

During use, take care never to kink or squash the steam supply cord

(11)
