Before use
Unwind and straighten the power cable
(9)
and vapour
mist cord
(12)
.
For first use, follow the ‘Quick Start Guide’ on page 3.
NOTE: When you have plugged in your ATOMiST
vapour iron, press the precision temperature control
(4)
once to turn the product on.
NOTE: For first use, you will need to hold the precision
vapour mist trigger
(2)
for up to one minute before
water vapour is produced from the vapour nozzle
(1)
. It
is normal for the product to make a loud noise during
this process.
Textiles and clothes should carry ironing instructions.
If not, follow the temperature guide above, but test
the temperature by ironing the hem of the garment
or similar discreet area first. It is advised to begin with
‘cool’ fabrics and work up to higher settings. An iron
heats up quicker than it cools down so you’ll save time
and electricity.
If you turn the temperature down from a hot setting to
a cooler setting, wait until the temperature indicator
lights
(15)
have stopped flashing before you continue
ironing.
NOTE: Hold the base with both hands when handling,
moving and storing the unit.
Filling
Never use battery topping up fluid or water
containing any substances like starch, sugar,
fragrant additives or defrosted water from a
refrigerator.
Unlike conventional irons, the ATOMiST vapour iron
is designed for use with tap water.
Re-filling during use:
If you press the precision vapour mist trigger
(2)
, and
the water level is low, the vapour nozzle
(1)
will flash,
a beep will be heard, and the unit will not produce
vapour. If this happens, remove the water tank
(6)
and
refill with water (see steps 1 and 2 of ‘Quick Start Guide’
on page 3) and replace the water tank.
NOTE: You can still use your product without vapour.
