MAKING ICE CUBES

•  Set one high position for low temperature. (i.e. position 4) before 

   making ice cubes.

•  Fill the ice cube tray 3⁄4 full of pure water and place it inside the 

   freezer compartment.
   

NOTE:

Do not overfill the tray otherwise it will be difficult to loosen

   the ice cubes.

•  It takes about 2.5 hours to make ice cubes and more than 1700g ice cubes can be made

   in a day).

•  To loosen ice cubes, hold the tray briefly under running water or twist the tray slightly.

PACKING FOOD BEFORE FREEZING

•  It is recommended to pack food before freezing to avoid 

   putrefaction and mixing smells.

•  If packing food in a bag, squeeze air out from the bag and seal the

   bag.

•  It is recommended to label the date & time on the package before freezing.

DEFROSTING FROZEN FOOD

•  Frozen food can be defrosted under room temperature, in 

   refrigerator compartments, in electrical ovens or in microwave

   ovens.

•  To refreeze the defrosted food, place food into freezer 

   compartment immediately.

BEFORE FIRST USE

•  Remove all packing materials including plastic bags, polyfoams, tapes.
•  Inspect all accessories and documents according to the packing list.
•  Clean the appliance interior before switching on for the first time.
•  After installation, wait for at least 30 minutes before switching on the appliance as the oil

   in the compressor may have flowed into the refrigeration system during transportation.

THERMOSTAT

•  There are 7 positions from 0 to 7 on the thermostat control 

   knob. (Note: Position 0 - 7 identify refrigeration, not temperatures.

•  Position 1 = Highest setting temperature.
•  Position 7 = Lowest setting temperature.
•  Position 0 = The compressor is powered off.

SWITCHING ON & TEMPERATURE CONTROL

•  When switching on for the first time, rotate the thermostat control knob to position 7 and

   shut the freezer door. After 2 hours, rotate the thermostat control knob back to normal 

   operating positions (1~ 4).

•  From position 1 (-18°C) to 7 (-24°C), the compartment temperature is from high to low. 

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

•  Set thermostat control knob from positions 1 ~ 4 for normal operation.
•  Occasionally set temperatures from high position to low position to maintain cooing 

   efficiency. I.e. Change from position 4 into position 2.

FREEZER COMPARTMENT

•  The freezer compartment is used for storing food for long durations, freezing food and 

   making ice cubes.

•  The freezer drawer can be detached by lifting it up.
•  The upper drawer can be used to freeze and store small 

   food items.

•  The middle drawer can be used to freeze and store larger 

   food items.

•  The bottom drawer can be used to store ready frozen food.
