IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully and retain them for future reference.
2. Before connecting to the power supply, ensure that the voltage of the appliance
corresponds to the voltage indicated on the power supply rating label at the bottom of
the appliance.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle or the button.
5. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse power cord, power plug, or any parts
of the jug kettle in water or other liquids.

Do not use the attached power base other for its intended purpose. Do not
immerse power base in water or any other liquids.
7. Do not allow power cord to hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
8. Do not operate appliance with a damaged power cord or power plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. In such a situation, it is
recommended to return the appliance to your nearest Authorized Service Center for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
9. Do not operate the appliance dry to avoid damaging the heat elements. Always ensure
there is water inside the appliance before operating.
10. Should you accidentally operate the appliance without water, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch it off. Should this occur, allow the kettle to cool down before filling
with cold water and re-boiling.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
12. Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where the children can’t touch, this
can prevent from overturning the kettle to damage the person or kettle.

Hot Water! Exercise caution when dispensing boiling water.

Avoid contact with escaping steam from the lid or spout when water is boiling
or just after it has switched off.
15. Exercise extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot water. Do not move
the appliance when it is connected to the power supply.
16. The use of attachments that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
