SAFETY REGULATIONS
Warning:
When using any electrical appliance, always observe basic safety precau�ons. The following
instruc�ons should be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
General:
1. Read this manual carefully before using the appliance. Keep this manual in a safe place for
future reference.
2. Use the appliance only as described in this manual.
3. Check if the voltage indicated on the charger corresponds to the local voltage before you
connect the device.
4. Always use an earthed socket.
5. Check the device regularly for damage. Do not use the device in case the power cord, plug or
charger is damaged, or when any component of the device has been dropped or damaged. If
the power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Van den Berg Products or a service
centre authorized by Van den Berg Products in order to avoid safety hazards.
6. Do not a�empt to repair the device yourself.
7. This appliance is not suitable for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabili�es, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless someone responsible
for their safety is supervising them or explains how the appliance must be used. Close
supervision is required if the appliance is used near of children, pets or plants.
8. Never allow children to play with the packaging as there is risk of suffoca�on.
9. Always disconnect the device from the adaptor when you fill, empty or clean the device.
10. Never pull the power cord to disconnect the charger from the socket; instead, hold the
adaptor and gently pull to disconnect.
11. Do not use the device with an extension cord unless this extension cord has been checked
and tested by a qualified technician.
12. Do not close the door on the power cord or pull it around sharp edges or corners. Do not
allow the power cord to be compressed or curled.
13. Keep the device, charger and the power cord away from flames and hot surfaces.
14. Do not use a�achments which are not recommended by Van den Berg Products, in par�cular
accessories which are not supplied with the device.
15. Never use the device in areas where certain vapours may be present (paint thinner,
flammable material, oil based paint and varnish, flammable liquids and gases) for risk of an
explosion.
16. Never immerse the device and/or the adaptor in water or other liquids.
17. Do not touch the charger with wet hands.
18. Never a�empt to grasp an electric device if it has fallen in water or other liquids.
19. Do not add harsh cleaning materials, caus�cs, acids, scented perfumes, oils or cleaning
products not intended for this type of cleaning to the water or the water tank as this may
damage the device or make it unsafe to use. Only use clear and pure water. The use of
dis�lled water is recommended in areas with hard water to avoid lime scale deposits.
20. Use the vacuum func�on only to vacuum liquids used during the cleaning process.
21. Only use the device on smooth, solid, flat surface that is suitable to withstand moisture.
22. Make sure the air exhaust is not blocked.
23. Only use the original charger as supplied with this device

25. Store the appliance indoors.
