Installation
Section 9: Installing the Accessories
If the firestones are not placed properly (ONE LAYER
ONLY), on burners excessive sooting will result. The
firestones will get very hot while the fireplace is in
operation, and should not be handled until cool.
Installing the Firestones
The
PL38DF*
is supplied with firestones. Remove the
Door as shown in
Section 8
. Follow these instructions
to ensure all parts are removed or replaced as required.
Once the Trim and glass door is removed place the
firestones in a single layer across the pan and the
burners as described in
Figure 26 to 26d
.
Note: Only cover the burner with one layer of designer firestones.
