tion. When the backrest reaches the next position
it will drop slightly and lock.
For the safety of your passengers, always make
sure the stern sun lounge back rest is in the full
aft, lounge backrest position whenever the en-
gines are running or the boat is underway. The
backrest secures the cockpit and lounge seat area
and prevents someone from accidently falling
overboard when it is in the aft position. Never
allow someone to be on the reverse facing lounge
seat with the backrest in the center or forward
position when the engines are running.
Bridge Deck Lounge Seat
The lounge passenger seat is mounted on the port
side of the bridge deck. A storage compartment
that drains to the deck is located below the lounge
seat cushion.
Helm Seats
The helm seats are equipped with a flip up bolster
to provide more room between the seat and the
helm. The bolster converts the seat to a leaning
post style seat with a backrest and allows the
operator to sit or stand at the helm. To convert
the seat to a leaning post, lift the front of the seat
cushion to raise the bolster and push it back above
the seat cushion.
Two arm rests on each seat provide a more com-
fortable driving position and swing up into the
backrest cushion to make it easier to enter and
exit the helm area.
There is a storage compartment located below the
seats. The compartment hatch is recessed and
secured with a push to close latch. If your boat is
equipped with the optional cockpit air conditioner,
it will be mounted in this compartment.
The intake for the optional cockpit air conditioner
air handler is built into the compartment hatch
below the helm seat. A digital air conditioner
control panel is mounted in the starboard side of
the cockpit next to the helm seat. The operation
of the cockpit air conditioner is similar to the cabin
air conditioner. Refer to the Raw Water Systems
chapter, the Interior Equipment chapter and the
air conditioner owner’s manual for additional in-
formation on the operation of the air conditioning
system.
Helm
The steering, engine controls, engine instruments
and switches for exterior equipment and naviga-
tion lights are located on the helm station. The
helm station is designed to provide good visibility,
room for electronics and a more functional control
station. Steps on the side of the helm provide
access to the walk thru windshield and the deck
when the boat is at the dock or at anchor.
