Engine Access
Access to the engines is provided by a day hatch,
located in the center of the cockpit, and by raising
the cockpit deck and stern sun lounge above the
engine room. The cockpit deck and sun lounge is
hinged at the rear and raised by an electric hatch
lifter activated by a switch in the helm switch
panel. The electric actuator raises and lowers
the front of the cockpit deck and sun lounge. The
cockpit deck is designed to raise high enough to
provide adequate access to service the compo-
nents in the engine compartment.
The transom door must be secured by the mag-
netic latch in the open position before the engine
hatch is lifted. There is a magnetic interlock
switch built into the transom door that activates
the circuit for engine hatch actuator and allows the
engine hatch to be lifted when the transom door
is in the open position. The interlock system is
necessary to prevent the transom door and cockpit
from being damaged by lifting the engine hatch
with the transom door closed. Always make sure
the transom door is secured in the full open posi-
tion before attempting to lift the engine hatch.
Wet Bar
The wet bar is equipped with a sink, cutting board
and sink basin divider, cup holders, an optional
ice maker or refrigerator and a storage area. The
counter top and sink cover are made of Karadon.
A grab rail on the wet bar provides a hand hold
when moving about the cockpit.
