25 Maintaining Your Dirtbike

Adjuster Nut

Rear Brake Adjustment

Adjustment

1. Place the bike on the side stand with the

engine off.

2. Turn the adjustment nut clockwise to

increase braking ability.

3. Turn the adjustment nut counter clockwise

to decrease braking ability.

Once you have adjusted the rear brake, test

ride the motorcycle. The rear wheel should

spin freely when the brake is not being applied.

Never ride the motorcycle when the brakes are not working properly. If you

cannot repair the brakes, have them serviced by your Authorized Monster Moto Service Center.
DO NOT RIDE the bike.
