Calibration
Although the printer was calibrated at the factory, it is a good idea to perform a calibration
before you use the printer for the first time. You should also perform a calibration after
changing the nozzle.
There are two methods of performing calibration: Expert Mode and Normal Mode.
In Expert Mode, you can manually adjust the distance between the nozzle and the build
plate. Insert the included Leveling Card between the nozzle and the build plate to gauge
the distance setting. Use the
button to move the extruder up away from the build
plate and use the
button to move the extruder down toward the build plate. The
proper distance is when there is a slight amount of resistance when moving the Leveling
Card between the nozzle and the build plate. Touch the OK button to save the changes.
