INSTALLATION 

1.

 

Power off and disconnect from its power source each device that will be 
connected to the switch. 

2.

 

Using a High Speed HDMI® Cable (not included), plug one end into the input on 
your monitor, then plug the other end into Sink HDMI port on the rear panel. 

3.

 

Plug a USB keyboard into the USB Keyboard Port on the front panel. 

4.

 

Plug a USB mouse into the USB Mouse Port on the front panel. 

5.

 

(Optional) Plug a pair of speakers or a headset into the Audio Out jack on the 
front panel. 

6.

 

(Optional) Plug a microphone with a 3.5mm plug into the MIC jack on the front 
panel. 

7.

 

(Optional) Plug a USB hub or USB device into the USB Port on the front panel. 

8.

 

Using a High Speed HDMI® Cable (not included), plug one end into PC1 HDMI 
port on the rear panel, then plug the other end into the HDMI video output on 
your first computer. 

Note: In order for the switching function to work, the first connection must be to a 
computer. The second connection can be to a computer, console, Blu-ray Disc™ player, 
or other device with HDMI® video output. 

9.

 

Using a USB Type-A to Type-B cable (not included), plug the Type-B end into the 
PC1 USB port on the rear panel, then plug the Type-A end into a USB port on 
your first computer. 

10.

 

Using a High Speed HDMI® Cable (not included), plug one end into PC2 HDMI 
port on the rear panel, then plug the other end into the HDMI video output on 
your second computer, console, or other device with HDMI video output. 

11.

 

(Optional) If connecting to a second computer or console, plug the Type-B end 
of a USB Type-A to Type-B cable (not included) into the PC2 USB port on the rear 
panel, then plug the Type-A end into a USB port on your computer or console. 

Note: In addition to their regular controllers, the PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One™ 
consoles can accept input from a standard PC USB keyboard and USB mouse. 

12.

 

Plug one end of the included AC Power Adapter into the 5 V/DC, 2 A jack on the 
rear panel, then plug the other end into a nearby AC power outlet.
