Your ICON lid is specially designed to be easily

Attention:

quence to minimise the risk of injury.
Open the lid and loosen the two wing nuts at the
back of the grill on either side of the hinge.
Do not remove the lid from the closed position.
Now hold the lid by the handle and lift it out of the
hinge mechanism while taking care to keep your
ȴQJHUVDZD\IURPWKHKLQJH
Attention:
To avoid the possibility of damage and/or
injury, ensure that the pre-assembled cradle is sited
RQDȵDWVWDEOHVXUIDFH
Now carefully guide the ICON into the cradle
taking care to ensure that the side with the
SURWUXGLQJ%%4*XUXQR]]OHLVLQVHUWHGȴUVW
1RZSODFHWKHȴUHER[PHWDOIUDPHLQWKHJULOODQG
position the ash removal opening to line up with
the air intake vent on the body.

into the metal frame.

cast iron charcoal grate.
Simply insert the stainless steel cooking grate, close
the lid and you’re ready to grill over direct heat.
Create a 2nd level and expand your cooking area by in-
serting the warming rack (accessory item no. 201023).
For indirect cooking such as smoking, roasting,
