Before You Call For Service…
Downdraft Vent System

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE
FAN DOES •
The vent is not fully extended. Press the raise/lower pad.
NOT WORK
•
The blower control switch may be in the
OFF
position.
Slide it to the right.
VENT DOES •
The vent is not plugged into an outlet. Plug the vent in.
NOT WORK
•
The raise/lower pad did not engage the lift motor. Hold down the
pad for a couple of seconds to activate the motor.
•
The circuit breaker may have tripped. Check the circuit breaker—
reset if necessary.
