Installing MA Presets on your Crown CDi 

2000Amplifier

1. 

Download Monitor Audio’s preset DSP settings for your 

Crown CDi 2000 amplifier, available from our website: 
www.

monitoraudio.com

2. 

Download the software HiQnet Audio Architect from the 

website:  

http://audioarchitect.harmanpro.com/en-

US/software

3. 

Open the downloaded zip folder, extract the executable 

file to your desktop and run it, proceeding through the 
steps of the Installation Wizard.

4. 

Once installation is complete launch Audio Architect.

5. 

Close the ‘Crash Reporting Disclaimer’ and ‘Application 

Options’  window.  You  can  now  select  your  network 
connection, or to skip this step, simply close the window.

6. 

Connect  the  Crown  CDi  2000  via  USB  cable  to  your 

computer and switch on the power button, the ready 
LED and power button will become illuminated. 

7. 

Once  discovered  a  pop  up  will  appear  in  Audio 

Architect, check ‘Add discovered devices to the Venue 
automatically’ is ticked and then press close.

8. 

 Your Crown CDi 2000 will now appear in the application 

window  and  the  ‘Go  Online’  button  will  become 
illuminated. Press ‘Go Online’. 

HINT:  Maximise  the  Audio  Architect  application 

window  to  see  the  buttons  as  they  are  shown  in 

these steps.

9. 

Press the ‘R’ (Recall) button, circled below.

10.  Select the amp with a left click, then right click to show 

the drop down options, press ‘Open Device File...’.

11.  Open the Monitor Audio preset file.

12.  You have now successfully installed our Monitor Audio 

presets on your Crown CDi 2000.

NOTE:  There  is  no  notification  of  this  being 
successful.
