The sensor configuration can be accessed from the field “Retain sensor settings” of the measuring program
window, as soon the checkbox is cleared. In this menu
,
you can configure the external and internal sensors.
However, saving a measuring program file (*.epz) also contains the parameters of the sensors. Clicking
“
Close
” requires a confirmation to apply the settings for the measuring program file and for transmitting the
sensor parameters to the device.
Changes of parameters will not take effect until the configuration
is transmitted to the device.
Acceleration sensors
In the tab “
Acceleration sensors”,
the correct sensor type of the
device can be selected. Additionally, the measuring range and
the associated unit of the sensor can be set. With specification of
the coefficients, which are stated in the respective calibration
certificates, the software calculates the maximum measuring range
for the acceleration. The acceleration channels can be
activated/deactivated as well the GPS tracking function for
acceleration and digital events (requires a
Tracking
Module
or a
data link
).
Analogue measuring channel
In this tab
,
the analogue measuring input can be configured. This
configuration requires a linear relationship between the input
signal (x) and the output signal (y). The parameters
Offset
(n),
Factor/Coefficient
(m) and
Meas. delay
(t
0
) have the following
coherence:
𝑦 (𝑡) = 𝑚 ∗ (1638 ∗ 𝑥 − 𝑛) ∗ (𝑡 + 𝑡
0
)
The
Measuring unit
pertains the output signal and is for better readability during evaluation.
