Installation Instructions for shallow base units
Remove the pozidrive screw from the side of the shallow base. By holding the unit
securely with two hands twist the sounder head anti-clockwise to the base to undo.
Secure the base to the desired surface using the appropriate fixings. Pull through power
& control cable and connect to the sounder head terminals as shown in the diagrams
below.
Re-assembly is the reverse of the above, first ensuring the O ring is in place on the
sounder spigot and aligning the bosses with the indents in the base. Once mated, firmly
twist the sounder head clockwise to fix in place. Replace the pozi drive screw.
Optional Deep Base
Drill out termination & fixing holes & locate onto the desired surface. Pull through
power & control cable using the appropriate cable glands. Fit sounder head as above.
Installation must be carried out in accordance with the latest codes of practice by a
qualified electrician.
