7) Change the network parameters of your computer back to its original set-
tings.
You can now connect the ExtIO to the target network and use the camera software
to activate it (see above). Once the connection between the camera and the ExtIO
has been established successfully, the left LED is permanently green. The remaining
configuration can now be performed in the camera software

Note
When using the ExtIO with DHCP, make sure that the assigned IP
address does not change. Please contact your network adminis-
trator in order to assign a fixed network address from the pool of
reserved IP addresses to this ExtIO.
In a home network (e.g. a DSL router with DHCP server and
switch), an IP address assigned by DHCP will usually not change if
there are only few network devices.
While the ExtIO has not been connected to the camera using the
camera software, you can prompt the ExtIO to announce its IP ad-
dress by pressing the right button (“Bell”).
