Installation of batteries
1.
Slide the battery compartment cover open on the back of the unit
2.
Install two AAA alkaline batteries (UM-4) with the correct polarity.
3.
Slide the cover back into place.
Use of the alcohol meter
Warm up
1.
Press the On key once, the alcohol meter screen lights up with a beep sound.
2.
The warm-up symbol is displayed. The countdown function starts from 10 to 0 and indicates that the alcohol meter is
warmed up.
Note:
There is always a certain amount of gas and impurities present on the surface of the sensor; If you use the device for the
first time, or if you have not used it for a long time, the device will need more time to warm up. Press the ON key again
and try again if it fails for the first time.
Test
1.
The "Blow" symbol is displayed as soon as the unit is warmed up, the countdown function starts from 10 to 0, indicating
that the meter is in test mode.
2.
Place the alcohol meter at your mouth and blow for 3-5 seconds in the bladder opening.
3.
Read the test result on the digital LCD screen.
4.
The "Caution" symbol appears when the alcohol concentration is high
5.
The "Hazard" symbol appears with a sound alert when the alcohol concentration reaches the following levels:
idem or higher 0.05% BAC (or 0.5g / l)
idem or higher 0.08% BAC (or 0.8g / l)
Auto Power Off:
1.
Once the result is displayed, the «OFF» symbol will be displayed for 15 seconds after 15 seconds and the unit will
automatically turn off.
2.
As long as you do not blow into the nozzle while the device is in «Test» mode, the LCD display shows the "0.00" value.
Note:
To obtain a more accurate result, we recommend that you run this test 2-3 times in a row.
Low battery warning light:
If the «L» symbol begins to flash on the screen, this means that the batteries are weak and the device will automatically
turn off. Replace the batteries.
Battery replacement:
Install two new AAA batteries if the device is not activating.

Attach the strap (included) into the plastic opening
